The immediate past Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mr. Kabir Mohammed has handed over the reins of leadership of the organisation to the new Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku .
This was made known in a statement signed by Ag Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mrs. Faithful Hope-Ivbaze and made available to Aviation Journalists yesterday in Lagos.
The hand over followed the sacking of the former Managing Director, Mr. Muhammed Kabir by the Federal Government and the appointment of Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku to succeed him
At a brief handover ceremony held at the FAAN’s Operational Headquarters in Lagos, Kabir expressed his appreciation to all staff of the authority for the cooperation and support he enjoyed while he served as the Chief Executive of the organisation.
He urged them to ensure to support the new management, so that the objectives of the organisation can be achieved.
