The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) said that it is very much aware of flight disruptions which have inconvenienced air passengers in the last couple of days and empathised with all affected passengers for the inconveniences these disruptions may have caused.
The NCAA empathised with the passengers in a statement signed by the Director Public Affairs & Consumer Protection, Michael Achimugu
In view of the above,the NCAA said it has mandated all airlines to provide timely flight disruption information to passengers to enable them to make informed decisions concerning their travels.
The regulator body said that it has is monitoring all operations and that its Consumer Protection Officers are on ground to monitor passenger handling procedures to ensure that airlines mitigate the inconveniences to passengers and provide care,refreshments and other alternative measures in line with Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations 2023 Part 19-
NCAA advised passengers to visit the NCAA Consumer Protection Department (CPD) desks located at the airport for prompt attention to their complaints or lodge their your complaint online www.ncaa.gov.ng or cpd@ncaa.gov.ng
