Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) said it has cleared Arik Air’s aircraft following the resolution of the rift between the airline and Atlas Petroleum by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.
The resolution of the matter and the given to Arik Air to begin flight operations was disclosed by the Director, Public Affairs & Consumer Protection,Mr. Michael Achimugu and made available to aviation Correspondents.
The statement informed that consequently, 2 of the 3 grounded Arik Air aircraft have been cleared by the NCAA to resume operations .
Passengers scheduled to travel on Arik Air, Achimugu said are already being checked-in at airport terminals across the country and that this clearly indicates that flights are resuming and operations are getting back to normal.
The NCAA assured the public of its commitment to aviation safety, security,and improved overall travel experience of passengers.
