The Rector/Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, Dr. Danjuma Ismailah and his management team have commended the efforts and consistency of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to boost capacity building through robust training programmes for the League of Airport and Aviation Correspondents(LAAC).

NCAA is aviation regulatory body and the major sponsor of the ongoing LAAC one week training programme holding at the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) in Zaria, Kaduna State.

The one week training programme code-named LAAC-13 2025 is designed for different categories of aviation journalists which cut across five classes: Basic, Advance, Management, Senior management and Refreshers courses for all the aviation journalists.

Declaring open, the 2025 Training programme, the Rector applauded NCAA for continuously and consistently sponsoring the media training.

According to the NCAT boss, the training would have a great impact on the journalists while reporting the industry.

The training, he said will further enhance their reportage of the industry, which according to him is dynamic

The NCAT Chief Executive Officer added that this training sponsored by the regulatory body will further boos the horizon of aviation journalists.

He noted that NCAA is a regulatory body that takes training and retraining as a priority, hence the sponsorship of LAAC’s training annually.
