Every war fought at the battlefield is settled on a dialogue table ; that is diplomacy. No war or conflict last forever.It may take time but there is always an end,and the end is dialogue crafted in diplomacy.
From Yokoshima to Golan Height,to Iraq and Kuwait,Pakistan and India,Israel and Gaza, China and Japan,South and North Korea,Britain and its occupied territories, France and its Colonies,Germany and its Colonies,Spain,, Portuguese and every power that has colonised the small states,the stories are the same. Even in Africa,where we are suppose to be our brothers keepers, there is strife and show of force and test of power of supremacy.
The Israel and Iraq war,if not checked, it may snowball into a global war that will affect all the nations and as an observer from the diplomatic angle,dialogue and diplomacy is apt and now is the time .
The whole world is watching how it plays out with USA supporting Israel with the spates of bombing of some atomic energy sites that is not healthy for world peace . But with the reasons given by President Donald Trump’s administration, what position does it hold for World peace,when a peace maker turns warlord ? ,what will happen if Russia or China turns to support Iran against all Conventions and lawful orders ? We must realise the theory of “Where your right ends,that is where mine starts” The global community must be conscious of the rule of law,else the World Order will no longer be relevant globally “
The world powers must know that there is a global rule on possesing atomic energy and other arsenals and when and where to use it,for self defence or dominance,but using it for show of force is anti- global expectation
World leaders must be careful in the use of excessive power and defence for dominance rather than protection of lives and properties of their citizens.
The US, Britain, Russia,China,France, NATO, BRICS, EU, AU among others must watch for humanitarian order, displacement and rights of women and children for a peaceful world,right to food, clothing and shelter, which will be destroyed by war or conflicts. World leaders must watch their actions or inactions.
