As preparations for the much expected and talked about 2025 Annual Conference of the Finance and Business Online Publishers (FiBOP) Association gathers momentum, Zenith, Polaris Banks, the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA),EmPLE Insurance, and Tangerine Insurance companies and other reputable organisations have agreed to support the event.

This was disclosed in a statement released by the organisers today in Lagos.

FiBOP explained that the organisations mentioned above are among the several organisation that have indicated interest to support the conference.

The theme of this s year’s conference is, “Achieving $1 Trillion Economy: Leveraging Technology, Innovations, Tax Reforms, and Opportunities in Renewable Energy, Agriculture, and Financial Services,” is scheduled to hold at Orchid Hotel in Lekki on October 18-19,2025.

According to FiPOB, sponsors and partners will have the opportunity to address directly, FiBOP members, financial services consumers and business professionals; elevate their brand visibility and position their organization as industry leaders; generate high-quality leads and foster valuable connections within the industry.

These entities, FiBOP said will also enjoy huge media hype and presence on national and international TV stations, radio, print, and online media.

Commenting on the conference theme, the President of FiBOP, Mr. Charles Onwuatogwu said, “for so long Nigerians have been burdened with the challenges of economic reforms and we think the best way to encourage them is to assist in charting not just the easiest but the best way to attain the $1 trillion economy by year 2030.

“In so doing, we believe that the dividends of democracy will reach our citizens much faster and in line with the renewed hope agenda of the government to provide and improve on the standard of living of the people”

Also speaking, the Chairman of the Conference Planning/Committee, Mr Godson Ikoro, said, “The conference is aimed at exploring ways to achieving a $1 trillion economy by acting as a catalyst in diversifying operations and technology, adaptation for innovation, investment diversification in renewable energy, insurance, agriculture, and services while collaborating with
government agencies and institutions to implement reforms and address the nation’s macroeconomic challenges”.

Expected at the conference as the Special Guests are high-profile dignitaries, including the Minister of Finance, Minister of Environment, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Chairman/CEO of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN), Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission,(SEC) Commissioner for Insurance and CEO of the National Insurance Commission, and CEOs of Fintech companies and renewable energy firms amongst others.

FiBOP, a body registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission(CAC) made and it is made up of seasoned online publishers and editors, with wealth of experience in the print and electronic media, who are dedicated to promoting informed and balanced reporting of economic events and activities, contributing to the growth and development of the Nigerian economy and the continent of Africa.

The association organises annual conference that provides a platform for experts and stakeholders to contribute to national discourse, aimed at fostering inclusive socioeconomic growth, unity, and national prosperity..

This year’s edition will be coming up in October 2025 at Orchid Hotel in Lekki, Lagos.
