The 2025 national conference of the Finance and Business Online Publishers (FiBOP) has continued to attract support and sponsorship from more reputable organisations and institutions in the nation’s economy as the event dates draws near.
As at the last count organisations such as : Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), emPLE Insurance Limited, Polaris Bank, Zenith bank, Fidelity Bank , Universal Insurance, and Nestle Nigeria Plc have thrown their full weight behind the much talked about and awaited programme.
The conference is scheduled to take place at Orchid Hotels, Lekki on October 18th to 19th, 2025.
The conference with the theme, “Leveraging Technology Innovations, Tax Reforms, and Opportunities in Renewable Energy and Agriculture to Achieve $1 Trillion Economy”, is intended to achieve a clear plan for securing successful mutual accountability and investment plans, crucial for Nigeria’s economic growth and development, particularly in areas like technology innovations, tax reforms, renewable energy, and agriculture
The event which promises to bring together technocrats and speakers from different sectors of the economy, will also identify growth strategies for diversifying from dependence on oil, adapting technology, fostering innovation, investing in renewable energy, insurance, agriculture, and services
FiBOP, the conference organisers has expressed optimism that more institutions will join the train based on the understanding of the federal government’s desire to better the lives of the citizens of this country.
Speaking on the forthcoming event, the President of FiBOP, Mr. Charles Onwuatogwu has called on companies and organisations to partner with the association, assuring that they will gain a wide range of benefits including well articulated media hype, through presentations, press interviews, media promotion, display of their organisation’s backdrop and inscription of their logo on souvenirs and all publicity materials.
Also, distinguished personalities, from the academia, captains of industries top ranking government officials, amongst which are the Minister of Finance and coordinating Minister of the economy, Mr.Wale Edun, Minister of Environment, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Olayemi Cardoso are expected to grace the occasion.
Others expected at the conference are : Chairman/CEO of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Commissioner for Insurance and CEO of the National Insurance Commission, and CEOs of Fintech companies and renewable energy firms.
