The Gabon Chamber of Commerce has expressed its strong support for the Gabon International Expo (GIE) scheduled to hold in November 27–28, 2026 at Baie des Rois, Libreville, Gabon

The decision to support the Expo followed a strategic meeting with the Expo team at the Chamber’s headquarters in Libreville.

The meeting focused on the objectives and vision of the Gabon International Expo, potential areas of institutional collaboration, strategic partnerships, and opportunities to strengthen participation from Gabon’s economic, tourism, crafts, and business communities.

Representing the Gabon International Expo were Mrs. Grace Ntahinta Mboumba, Coordinator (GIE), and Mrs. Ayingono Sandra, Project Lead (GIE).

During the engagement, the Director General of the Gabon Chamber of Commerce, Mrs. Daniel Biwaou, presented the institution’s mandate and its role in supporting Gabonese businesses and economic operators.

The GIE delegation subsequently presented the Expo’s vision of promoting Gabon internationally while creating a platform for tourism promotion, business networking, investment opportunities, entrepreneurship, trade and international partnerships.

The Gabon Chamber of Commerce reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Gabon International Expo and indicated its intention to facilitate greater awareness and participation among operators within the tourism and crafts sectors.

The Chamber’s support is expected to help connect the Expo with businesses, tourism operators, artisans and other key economic stakeholders across Gabon.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of expanding the Expo’s reach through strategic regional partnerships.

The Director General recommended engagement with institutions including the Chambre des Métiers, the ECCAS Gender Unit and CEMAC, with the aim of encouraging participation from countries across the Central African region.

These engagements are expected to support greater regional representation and create opportunities for business networking, investment promotion, knowledge exchange and cross-border partnerships.

The Expo will bring together businesses, entrepreneurs, tourism operators, artisans, investors, institutions and international partners to showcase Gabon’s economic, tourism, cultural and creative potential.

The Gabon Chamber of Commerce has positioned itself as a supportive partner of the Gabon International Expo and pledged to assist in mobilising its members and relevant stakeholders to participate in the initiative.

The partnership is expected to contribute to strengthening the international visibility of Gabon’s economic, tourism, cultural, creative and entrepreneurial sectors.

The engagement represents an important step in strengthening collaboration among the private sector, tourism stakeholders, artisans, regional institutions and international partners.

The Gabon International Expo aims to provide a strategic platform for promoting Gabon as an increasingly attractive destination for investment, tourism, trade, entrepreneurship and international business, while creating opportunities for meaningful partnerships and sustainable economic development.
