Veteran tourism journalist, editor, broadcaster and convener of Cre8tive 9JA, Mr. Frank Meke, has been honoured with the recognition award as “Golden Icon of Tourism Journalism & Destination Storytelling” at the 5th Edition Golden Prestigious Icons Awards 2026.
The awards, themed “Beyond Boundaries”, was held yesterday ,Sunday, August 30, 2026 at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Lekki
The award recognises Meke’s outstanding contributions to promoting Nigeria’s culture, festivals, and destinations through decades of journalism, destination marketing, and broadcasting on platforms including Vanguard Newspapers, The Sun Newspapers and Cre8tive 9JA.
