Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL) operator of Murtala Muhammed Airport 2(MMA2), in line with its dynamic mindset, has hosted a unique innovation and unprecedented event, the very first of its kind, tagged “My Airport Wedding.”
The innovation featured a real couple, Agboola Abiodun Qudus and Olamide Miracle, exchanging their wedding vows at the airport, surrounded by family, friends, well-wishers, and terminal users.
The innovation according to a statement signed by Head, Corporate Communications, BASL, Ajoke Yinka-Olawuyi took place yesterday; Saturday, June 29, 2024, in the ticketing hall of MMA2, Lagos.
‘My Airport Wedding”, Yinka-Olawuyi informed was a landmark event that showcased the depth of the terminal’s brand’s creativity and commitment to exceptional passenger experiences.
Attendees, she said were immersed in the couple’s beautiful love story, creating a buzz of excitement and leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed this extraordinary occasion.
She disclosed that the idea is a brainchild of Monica Oguta, and was actualised by the Head of the Creative Service Department, Korede Ogunseinde.
Speaking further, the obviously excited BASL Spokesperson said, “This event is poised to significantly impact the travel, entertainment, and aviation sectors. It will elevate the recognition of MMA2 and the Nigerian aviation sector globally, drawing attention to our innovative spirit. She added that through this event Nigeria will gain global recognition, adding that BASL will continues to set benchmarks in the aviation industry with its relentless pursuit of innovation, creativity, and technological advancement.
She pointed out that the terminal is embodied by its slogan, ‘More than a terminal,’ as the terminal pride itself in its ability to craft unique experiences and activities within the terminal, enhancing the journey for its passengers and terminal users through various innovative expressions.
