Nigerian Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA) has Conferred on the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo the “Visible Impact In Public Service” Award.
NECA, the umbrella organisation of all employers in the private sector in Nigeria honoured the Minister at the weekend.
A statement signed by the
Special Adviser on Media and Communications to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development,Tunde Moshood, informed explained that this event is an annual excellence award celebrating exceptional contributions to national development and public service.
The award, Moshood said was presented at a grand ceremony to recognise Keyamo’s significant strides in the aviation and aerospace sector.
He stated that since the Minister assumed office, he has implemented transformative policies, including enhancing infrastructure, improving operational efficiency, and fostering international partnerships to strengthen Nigeria’s aviation ecosystem.
The Minister was represented at the event by his Special Assistant, Janet Oputa, who proudly received the plaque on his behalf.
In her remarks, she conveyed the Minister’s gratitude to NECA for the recognition and reaffirmed his commitment to driving sustainable growth and innovation in the sector.
“The Honourable Minister is deeply honoured by this recognition and remains resolute in his mission to reposition Nigeria’s aviation industry as a global standard. He dedicates this award to the hardworking teams in the ministry and all stakeholders who share in this vision,” said Oputa.
The audience lauded Keyamo’s achievements, emphasising the positive impact of his leadership on Nigeria’s aviation and aerospace landscape.
His efforts to promote transparency, improve service delivery, and create an enabling environment for stakeholders have not gone unnoticed.
NECA commended Keyamo for his dedication, stating that, “This award is a testament to his visible impact and exemplary service to the nation. We hope this recognition will inspire further excellence.”
