The Nigeria College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), and the of South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority(SSCAA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) on mutually beneficial training.
The Rector/CEO of NCAT, Dr Danjuma Ismaila disclosed this when he received the Director General of SSCAA, Hon John Eliana,who led a delegation of South Sudanese aviators to the college.
The visit, which was at the behest of the President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, seeks to sign a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with NCAT to help build more human capacities for the South Sudanese aviation industry.
According to NCAT, the delegation undertook a facility tour of the college and were greatly impressed with the cutting edge facilities on ground, the comprehensive training programmes and the vastly knowledgeable instructional staff.
The NCAT Rector, while thanking them for the interest shown in the college, also assured the delegation of the College’s readiness to accept their demands to benefit from NCAT’s training expertise.
The delegation, the college said was shown NCAT’s detailed training programmes, courses and packages to choose from; especially areas that best bridge their human capacity gaps.
The delegation’s choices , NCAT said was made and an MoU for training for mutual benefits.
